The role: This role is responsible for developing and implementing best practice Business Analysis capability across eHealth Queensland and Hospital and Health Services, enhancing delivery excellence and achievement of outcomes on-time and on budget. It provides strategic leadership, engaging diverse stakeholders and looks to integrate all business analysis services including people, processes, tools, frameworks, standards, and functions A key focus for the next 12 months is on implementation and embedding of relationships with industry and Queensland Health communities of practice to promote and share knowledge for the benefit of Queensland Health and other government agencies. To be successful in this role you will: Demonstrated experience leading and managing business analysis activities in large-scale, complex programs or projects, applying high-level knowledge of frameworks, methodologies, tools and standards aligned with global best practice, Queensland Health, and Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture policy requirements. Proven ability to provide specialist advice, guidance and thought leadership in Business Analysis, engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders to influence outcomes, support strategic decision-making, and promote consistent, standards-aligned practice across multi-disciplinary environments. Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver capability uplift initiatives and collaborative learning programs, such as the Business Analysis Community of Practice, Internal Development Program, Digital Graduate Program, and knowledge-sharing networks, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, professional growth pathways, and emerging delivery needs. Proven experience contributing to the development and continuous improvement of competency frameworks, practice maturity models, self-assessment tools, and high-quality learning resources, ensuring workforce capability development is measurable, contemporary, and aligned with global best practice. Demonstrates ability to lead, support, and develop high-performing teams and individuals, fostering inclusive and collaborative environments, embedding new ways of working, and enabling professional development through mentoring, coaching, and aligned growth opportunities.
