Primary Location NSW - Rockdale Job Description Summary Exciting Opportunity for a Structures Senior Project Manager to join our ConnectSydney team About the Role ConnectSydney, a dynamic joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, will be delivering the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract for the Harbour Zone in metropolitan Sydney. The Senior Project Manager - Structures will be responsible for overview all contract activities to ensure the required project/operational objectives are met and implement corrective actions where necessary. Overview the management and administration of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure works are executed to the satisfaction of the client and in accordance with agreed specifications, terms, conditions and budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver construction projects on time and within budget. Oversee construction programs, budgets, and monthly forecasting in collaboration with project managers. Prepare and review detailed works estimates and tender documents, ensuring alignment with company interests. Monitor project progress and compile monthly reports covering cost, schedule, safety, and environmental performance. Drive operational efficiencies and implement strategies to improve project delivery and maintenance. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. Ensure all safety, environmental, community, and sustainability standards and approvals are met. Guide and support PMs, engineers, and supervisors in project execution and safety management. Contribute to bid strategy development and continuous improvement of business systems and procedures. Update construction milestones in JAMS and oversee site works as required. Lead performance management of direct reports, establishing clear roles and responsibilities. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications in the civil/electrical/mechanical engineering or trade space and possess the following experience and competencies: Strong experience in the Transport industry. Demonstrated understanding of planning scheduling functions. Familiar with commercial, contractual, and financial aspects of projects. Good command of MS Project and/or similar software Familiar with all activities involved in setting up project teams and site establishment relating to multidiscipline project.
