Continuing Opportunity Available Opportunity to partake and assist in record management projects across a large tertiary education institute Base Salary $89,755 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Archives and Record Management Services is seeking a Senior Records Officer to join their team! Within this position you will primarily provide support to the Records Online Helpdesk services. As a part of this you will implement and facilitate system training and create/ maintain training materials in accordance with the University’s Recordkeeping Policy 2017 and related procedures. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide advice to clients using the University of Sydney’s records management system on routine questions Supporting system related enhancement and development such as; system testing and preparing test scripts. Coordinate with the team to produce quality reports, verify data accuracy within university systems, and actively engage in compliance initiatives to uphold regulations. Conduct training ensuring staff and stakeholders are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills related to recordkeeping and information management. This may involve providing user training in a group or 1:1 environment Desired criteria Hold an understanding of the structure and working processes within tertiary education institutions. About you Hold qualifications of Associate Diploma or Certificate IV in Records Management or relevant Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent professional experience working within records or information management Experience supporting and providing advice with regards to the record or information management systems and facilitating system training/ materials Proven experience in testing systems in UAT and Production environments, and/or practice to meet business needs based on legislation, industry standards and University policies. Minimum 5 years’ experience working with content managers (TRIM would be desirable) or equivalent experience Ability to provide a high level of customer service and manage strong working relationships with stakeholders. High level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise with staff internally and externally.
