This is a strategic leadership role suited to someone with experience managing field-based trades teams and a solid understanding of service operations, client management, and scheduling coordination. Working alongside the State Manager and Scheduling Team, you will oversee workflow across more than 30 government and commercial clients, including schools, medical centres, retail sites, and federal departments. Your ability to lead a team, solve problems on the ground, and balance multiple priorities will be key to success. Responsibilities: Lead and support a growing team of trades professionals Oversee performance, workflow, and trade coordination Attend client sites, build relationships, and resolve escalated issues Scope and quote work, support schedulers with job planning Manage subcontractors and suppliers Contribute to cost control, forecasting, invoicing, and margin awareness Provide operational support to the Melbourne-based State Manager, with a view to stepping into their role within 12 months About you: Trade qualified – ideally in plumbing (other trades considered) Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within FM, maintenance, or building services Strong understanding of quoting, job costing, and contractor engagement Technically minded with excellent communication and people management skills Comfortable liaising with high-profile clients and balancing a busy job queue Proficient with job management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
