The role The Principal Technology Officer will support the development and implementation of technical solutions and provide technical advice whilst ensuring alignment with contemporary Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) frameworks. Key responsibilities: Build, document and implement technical solutions within best practice IM/ICT design and delivery frameworks. Provision of sound advice and recommendations regarding technical specialisations and their application. Utilise appropriate design standards, methods and tools, consistent with agreed enterprise and solution architectures. Support the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation planning of IM/ICT changes, including the evaluation of risks to the integrity of specific infrastructure components in proposed implementations. About you We are searching for someone who: Demonstrated ability, or the ability to quickly learn Service Now and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) processes based on the ITIL framework, primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management. Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the following: Basic directory technology concepts, i.e. eDirectory, Active Directory, LDAP, and any scripting skills such as PowerShell Linux based operating systems, specifically SLES or Open Enterprise Server would be well regarded Basic identity management concepts, specifically any NetIQ IDM would be well regarded Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in individual or team situations and communicate clear explanations regarding information technology related problems. Ability to meet service delivery targets by performing multiple tasks within agreed priorities, time frames and accountabilities. Ability to work autonomously, and as a member of a team to achieve agreed outcomes. Why work with us?
