About the Role: We're seeking an experienced and motivated Factory Supervisor to oversee daily production in a busy joinery workshop. This hands-on leadership role involves managing workflow from set-out to dispatch, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring every project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality. Tasks & Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day factory operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and on schedule Troubleshoot machinery and coordinate maintenance as required Lead, mentor, and support cabinet makers across all production stages Inspect and sign off completed items before dispatch Review drawings and work orders for accuracy and feasibility Manage scheduling for set-out, production, and installations Oversee purchasing, materials, and stock control Approve timesheets and monitor productivity Maintain a clean, safe, and organised factory in line with OHS standards Ensure delivery loading and dispatch are completed accurately and on time Skills & Experience: Trade-qualified Cabinet Maker (or equivalent hands-on experience) Proven experience leading or supervising a joinery or manufacturing team Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and machinery operation Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency Basic computer skills for scheduling, planning, and documentation Benefits & Perks: Full-time, stable role with long-term security Lead a close-knit, skilled team producing premium joinery Well-equipped workshop with modern machinery Supportive management and great workplace culture Competitive salary based on experience About the Company With over 30 years in the industry, this company has built a strong reputation for delivering premium cabinetry.
