Position Overview Manteena is seeking Contracts Administrators to support the successful delivery of our projects. We are actively looking for talent in our Commercial, Residential and Security Businesses. In this role, you’ll assist with contract management, procurement, and project documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to coordinate contract execution, track progress, and manage variations. Key Responsibilities: The Contracts Administrator plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by managing contract documentation, assisting with procurement, monitoring project costs and schedules, and ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. Manage upstream and downstream claims, vendor payments, and retention payments to ensure financial obligations are met in accordance with contract terms and project timelines. Support the Project Manager in managing contract documentation, relationships, and risk. Assist with contract negotiation, identifying and mitigating risks to the company and client. Monitor scope, variations, RFIs, and subcontractor performance. Track contract correspondence and provide input to protect against potential claims Ensure contracts clearly define roles, responsibilities, and obligations. Maintain accurate cost tracking, financial reporting, and project documentation. Assist with subcontractor engagement, pricing comparisons, and budget planning. Monitor project schedules, lead times, and trade/material coordination. Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and Manteena systems. Participate in safety planning, SWMS reviews, and site housekeeping. About You: Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships. Growth mindset and a genuine desire to develop professionally within a team environment. A background in Construction Management or a related discipline is highly regarded.
