Our team has grown quickly, and as we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced and people-first Part-Time HR Manager to help build the right foundations, support our people, and champion a great workplace culture. The Role We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of Australian employment law and experience across the full HR spectrum, from recruitment to performance management, and everything in between. You’ll work closely with the COO, General Manager and the global HR team to help shape the way we work, support our people as they grow, and make sure we’re compliant, consistent and culture-first in everything we do. This role will be a part time role, with options to spread the working hours across the week. Key Responsibilities People & Culture Support and help evolve our workplace culture, values and team initiatives Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I initiatives Champion Amplify as a great place to work HR Compliance & Advice Ensure all HR practices and documentation are compliant with Australian employment law and Fair Work standards Maintain and update contracts, policies, handbooks, and employee records Be the go-to for HR advice and support across the business Recruitment & Onboarding Lead end-to-end recruitment, working closely with team leads to identify and fill new roles Manage onboarding for new starters: from contracts and systems access to welcome processes and probation check-ins Support succession planning and future workforce needs Performance & Development Oversee performance review processes and support career development plans Advise managers on performance management, feedback conversations, and people-related challenges Lead offboarding and exit interviews, ensuring smooth and respectful transitions What We’re Looking For 5 years experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced, creative, or start-up environment Deep understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices Confident, proactive, and able to work autonomously A strong communicator who builds trust and gets things done Organised, detail-oriented and people-focused Someone who genuinely cares about creating an inclusive, healthy, and supportive workplace Why Amplify Flexible part-time role with a supportive and creative team A unique opportunity to shape HR within one of Australia’s most exciting creator agencies Culture-first environment where your work directly impacts our people and business A fun, passionate, purpose-driven team doing great work with amazing clients and creators
