The Information Management Technology Services (IMTS) division is the University’s central information management and technology service provider for core infrastructure and services and is responsible for the development and management of information and communications technology resources in response to research, teaching and corporate requirements. IMTS is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Cyber Security to support the delivery of the University’s Cyber Security Uplift Program. This position plays a key role in identifying and remediating security risks and implementing controls that enhance the protection of UOW’s critical digital assets, services, and information. About the role The Project Manager will lead and coordinate projects to reduce cyber risk exposure and strengthen compliance with recognised security frameworks. The role will work collaboratively with senior project managers, technical experts, and stakeholders across the University to ensure cyber security initiatives are delivered efficiently on schedule, and within scope. The position also contributes to the ongoing maturity of UOW’s cyber security capability through continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and engagement across the University community. About you You will bring demonstrated experience in project management within ICT or cyber security environments, with the ability to manage risks, coordinate workstreams, and deliver projects that align with strategic objectives. You will have a sound understanding of information security concepts, risks, and controls, supported by excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
