The key duties of the position include The Library is seeking to develop a merit pool to fill ongoing and non-ongoing APS3 Imaging Officer roles within the Digitisation Projects Section of the Collaboration Branch as they arise. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who manages their own work within broader team objectives and works with the team to contribute to the deliverables for the section. We are seeking a person who can work to established work processes and ensure high-level digital capture of collection materials. To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: Experience scanning collection material and conducting quality assurance of digitised images, with basic imaging technology skills desirable. Full training will be provided, and a willingness to learn is encouraged. Familiarity with Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) protocols. The ability to apply appropriate care and handling procedures when working with collection material. A willingness to participate in Communities of Practice and share knowledge across digitisation programs.
