For this role we are looking for strengths in:- Strategic thinking- Research and problem solving- Project management - Drive accountability and outcomes- Demonstrates sound governance- Policy analysis and development Your responsibilities- Undertake research, analysis and interpret current and emerging industry development issues related to the defence industry sector.- Develop policies, strategies and programs to support the growth and uplift of the Queensland defence industry sector.- Prepare well-researched business cases, reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence.- Implement projects to support the Queensland Government's industry development strategies.- Provide clear and concise reports on delivery milestones and manage associated risks. - Exercise judgement to effectively manage competing priorities whether working collaboratively with colleagues, or individually, to deliver outcomes within expected timeframes, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to departmental governance requirements.
