Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning Tuesday: Morning Wednesday: Morning Thursday: Morning Friday: Morning Expected salary: $48 - $52 per hour An industry leader in inspection and testing services is seeking experienced NACE Level 2 Inspectors to join their growing team. With operations supporting defence, mining, manufacturing, and maritime sectors, this role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of projects, including coatings, corrosion, blast, and paint. Key Responsibilities Conduct NACE Level 2 inspections on coatings and corrosion across a range of projects Perform inspections, testing, and reporting in line with industry standards Prepare detailed inspection reports with thorough analysis and recommendations Interpret and work within Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and work instructions Collaborate with teams to identify solutions and ensure compliance with standards Maintain current knowledge of NACE requirements and best practices Requirements NACE Level 2 Certification (CIP Level 2) Proven experience in coatings inspection (maritime, defence, or mining preferred) Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail Solid understanding of ITPs and work instructions Knowledge of corrosion science and surface preparation methods Flexibility to travel interstate or FIFO when required Ability to pass a national police check and pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol testing) Current driver’s licence Desirable Construction Industry White Card This role suits detail-oriented professionals who thrive in varied environments and are motivated to uphold the highest standards of inspection and compliance.
