MADEC Australia is a successful community owned not-for-profit and charitable organisation with a proud 50 year history of providing relief to people experiencing poverty and/or distress. Employing around 180 staff MADEC delivers Employment Services, Education and Training, Indigenous Programs, and our fast-growing Labour Hire division incorporating the Pacific Labour Mobility scheme. Reporting to the General Manager – Labour Hire, this key leadership role will lead a diverse team of employees located across SA, TAS and WA regional areas and have responsibility for: • Lead, develop and manage Team Leaders and Liaison Officers across 3 states to meet client service targets • Collaborate with the Business Development team to grow regional labour-hire through targeted relationships and high-quality employment solutions • Manage client expectations and elevate service and compliance standards • Drive strategic goals, participate in continuous-improvement initiatives and uphold MADEC’s Code of Conduct • Oversee WHS systems and compliance responsibilities fostering a proactive safety culture • Coordinate compliant accommodation, transport, licensing requirements, etc for on hire workers • Oversea worker arrivals, inductions, pastoral care and enforce assignment and community guidelines • Attend state-wide forums to gather labour-market insights and promote Labour Hire Services About you The successful candidate will be commercially astute, operationally effective and be a strong and professional leader of people. You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Labour Hire business, or similar industry organisation. You have experience in overseeing WHS practices and are committed to ensuring your team deliver an outstanding service to MADEC’s on hire workers and clients. You have the aptitude for identifying opportunities for client growth within your region and work collaboratively with your peers to bring these to fruition. Being highly motivated, organised and demonstrating excellent communication and relationship building skills you will excel in this exciting role. With frequent travel expected across 3 states, the Regional Manager must be based in South Australia.
