We are currently seeking an organised, professional, and caring candidate to cover Student Reception during a staff absence. About the Role Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you’ll be the first point of contact for students, staff, visitors, and parents. Each day will bring variety, from managing the reception area and answering enquiries to monitoring student attendance and providing basic first aid support to students. Key responsibilities include: Greeting and assisting visitors, staff, and students in a warm and professional manner Monitoring daily student attendance and recording absences using Synergetic Responding to student needs at reception and in the sick bay (dispensing approved medication such as Panadol/Nurofen when required) Handling calls, emails, deliveries, and general administrative support Liaising with teachers and the Deputy Head regarding attendance and student welfare Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation and approvals are up to date Location: Hawthorn, VIC | Free onsite Parking available Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. Start: Immediate You’ll be supported by the head of campus, and there is always assistance available, you’ll never be on your own in the role. About You You are a confident and capable administrator who enjoys working with young people and contributing to a positive school environment. You have excellent communication skills, a calm and professional approach, and can manage multiple tasks at once while keeping a smile on your face.
