We're supporting a leading Defence and maritime delivery program with multiple contract opportunities. These roles form part of the project controls function, supporting complex, large-scale programs with a focus on cost, schedule, and risk performance. We're targeting experienced, senior-level professionals who can hit the ground running and provide guidance to more junior team members. These roles offer location flexibility, including Melbourne, Adelaide, or Perth. The highlights: Contract Length: 3-6 months with strong potential to extend Location: Hybrid - roles available in Melbourne, Adelaide, or Perth Start: October/ November Security Clearance : NV1 clearance What you'll be doing: Leading project controls activities with a focus on cost, schedule, risk, and Earned Value Management (EVM) Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and performance baselines Supporting reporting cycles through variance analysis, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement Contributing to planning reviews and ensuring data accuracy for effective decision-makingProviding guidance and mentoring to junior team members Ensuring compliance with internal standards and program requirements What we're looking for: Proven experience in senior project controls or planning roles within complex, large-scale programsStrong expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and their practical application Advanced skills in project scheduling and cost control software (e.g., Primavera P6, COBRA, or similar) Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior team members Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and delivering timely insights Effective communication skills, able to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels This is an excellent opportunity to bring your project controls expertise into a critical sector, working across large-scale delivery programs in a collaborative and professional environment.
