They grow a variety of broadacre crops using precision farming techniques and modern, well-maintained machinery, including cereals, canola, and faba beans. Additionally, they manage a livestock operation with trade sheep and cattle across several properties. They are seeking an experienced Senior Farmhand to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of broadacre farming operations and expertise in operating heavy machinery, with mechanical experience highly preferable, along with a solid background in general farm maintenance. A good sense of humour and a strong work ethic are essential traits. As a Senior Farmhand, you will play a vital role in the farm's daily activities, participating in all stages of the cropping cycle, including sowing, spraying, spreading, and harvesting. You will also have the opportunity if desired, to work with livestock. The Offer A competitive wage will be negotiated with the candidate, commensurate with their skills and experience. A three-bedroom home with a securely fenced yard, swimming pool, and lovely views will be provided, along with a work vehicle. The farm is located centrally between the townships of Young, Temora and Cootamundra in the heart of the Riverina region.
