The Employer We’re a progressive, family-run farming business producing certified seed potatoes, pasture and forage seed, irrigated crops and beef cattle in the Southern Riverina. Innovation, quality, and sustainability drive us — and we’re looking for the right person to share that journey. Ideal Candidate This role is less about ticking every technical box and more about the kind of person you are. We want someone who: Leads with a positive mindset – motivates, supports, and grows the people around them. Learns quickly and adapts easily – open to new technology, better ways of farming, and continuous improvement. Takes ownership – treats the farm like their own, with pride in every job from planning to hands-on work. Thinks ahead – proactive about solving problems before they become issues. Values balance – understands that safe, steady, and sustainable farming practices come first. If you bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn, we can teach and support the rest. The Role Lead and coordinate daily operations across a diverse irrigated farming enterprise. Work closely with our family, agronomists, and team to plan crops and irrigation schedules. Help guide improvements in productivity, sustainability, and innovation. Oversee and support staff, seasonal workers, and contractors in a safe, respectful workplace. Care for our irrigation systems and machinery with a “fix it, improve it, keep it running” approach. Offer Competitive salary package based on experience, with scope for growth and long-term development. Comfortable family home and vehicle included. A healthy work-life balance in a supportive, family-run business with strong values. A chance to grow your career in a modern, innovative farming operation. Who You Are Passionate about agriculture, even if your background isn’t traditional. Naturally curious and willing to learn new systems. Organised, practical, and level-headed under pressure. Mechanically and/or agronomically minded (formal tickets and qualifications are a bonus, but not the only path in).
