ActewAGL Retail is seeking a Team Leader Credit & Affordability to lead a high-performing team responsible for credit operations, hardship support, and debt recovery across electricity, gas, and water services. About the Role Reporting to the Credit and Affordability Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, coach and develop team members, and ensure service excellence across all credit and affordability functions. This includes managing the Staying Connected program, legal and tribunal matters, and collections for both mass market and commercial customers. A day in the life Lead, mentor and support the Credit and Affordability team to meet KPIs and service standards Manage team rosters, leave, and workload distribution Oversee debt collection activities including disconnections, reconnections, write-offs, and tribunal liaison Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations Drive continuous improvement through audits, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration Prepare monthly and quarterly reports including NECF reporting Resolve escalated customer complaints with professionalism and care Please review the position description for a full understanding of the role What You’ll Bring Strong leadership and coaching capabilities Proven experience in credit management and debt recovery Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills Proficiency in billing systems and reporting tools Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive performance Why join ActewAGL ?
