Indigeco is supporting a major Federal Government department in sourcing an experienced APS6 Procurement Officer to join their Procurement, Grants and Financial Framework Team on a labour-hire contract until 30 June 2026. This dynamic and high-performing team supports the department’s procurement and grants activities, ensuring compliance with all legislative and policy frameworks. As the Procurement Officer, you will play an integral role in providing administrative and coordination support across a range of procurement and governance functions. Only candidates with active and valid Baseline clearance are eligible to apply for this position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the oversight and administration of the department’s Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), including core MoUs. Provide secretariat support for departmental committees. Coordinate internal and external audit activities. Assist with procurement administration, including compliance monitoring and reporting. Manage whole-of-government contracts, such as stationery and office supplies. Maintain and update intranet content and ensure accuracy of published information. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a broad range of stakeholders. A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in both technical and non-technical teams. Demonstrated experience in procurement or finance-related policy and processes. Desirable: understanding of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
