Your New Role Reporting to the National Credit Manager, the Accounts Receivable Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable team. Leading a team of five Allocation Officers and Credit Controllers, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely collection of outstanding customer accounts, managing complex reconciliations, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Key responsibilities include: Major account collections and reconciliation Managing receipts and allocations of daily incoming payments Preparing daily banking sheets and maintaining payment reports Maintaining an Accounts Receivable Aged Trial Balance Handling high-volume calls regarding overdue accounts Investigating and resolving customer queries and disputes Ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit standards Driving team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement What You'll Need to Succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or credit control Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a finance team Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes Experience in a high-volume or shared services environment not essential Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business (desirable) What You'll Get in Return This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
