We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support across our contract with Defence. What You’ll Do As our Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Your key duties will include: Ensuring compliance with Client and ISS financial guidelines Efficiently processing creditor invoices and matching them with purchase orders Coding and authorising invoices in line with internal procedures Identifying and resolving duplicate payments, refunds, and cheque cancellations Setting up and maintaining accurate creditor records Upholding internal controls and ensuring data integrity Filing and archiving financial records according to company policy Reconciling creditor accounts and statements Reporting non-compliance issues to management What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts payable role Strong customer service and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry Ability to work respectfully with people from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds Results-focused mindset with strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities Willingness to seek guidance and collaborate when needed Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships Initiative and autonomy in managing tasks Mandatory requirement - Australian Citizen & ability to gain a Defence Baseline Clearance Why Join Us?
