What you will be doing This role is Adelaide based and onsite (client site) a minimum of 2 days per week. This is a team lead role. What will keep you busy • Contribute to software development projects by writing, testing, and debugging code, with an emphasis on complex and critical components. • Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements, actively participating in design and code reviews. • Provide technical expertise and support to team efforts, acting as a subject matter expert in specific domains. • Assist in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing solutions. • Participate in defining software requirements and specifications. • Debug and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with operations and support teams. • Contribute to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices. • Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing. The skills you will bring • Typically, 8 – 12 years of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 2 in a leadership role within application support. • Experienced in a customer / client facing support role with an understanding of stakeholder management, communication, escalations, reporting and governance. • Technical strong with SAAS or hosted web application support, basic SQL, ITIL v3 or v4, windows server, as well as strong vendor management skills. • Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies and has a relevant university degree. • Strong programming and debugging skills and willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges • Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies • Good team collaboration and communication abilities with the ability to articulate to key internal and external stakeholders/customers/vendors verbally and in writing without technical jargon where needed •It would be ideal to have supported financial or supply chain mngt application and have experience in mid-range deployment but not essential.
