This exciting opportunity will see you modify & configure CAD application and associated interfaces as well as participate in troubleshooting and rectification of CAD application and associated interface issues where they relate to configuration. In addition, you will: Develop and maintain workflows as directed; Maintain documentation of changes to the CAD application and associated interfaces; Maintain an effective and efficient change request process for Data and Configuration within CAD Application; Coordinate/ engage in, mapping changes & updates to the CAD application; Provide input to projects and initiatives as required; identify opportunities and implement process and technology improvements within the Applications Solutions team; Provide effort estimates and other relevant information to stakeholders on request to agreed service levels; Under direction, perform any appropriate testing to ensure timely and quality outcomes in accordance with relevant standards; Maintain appropriate historical records and reporting of effort associated with change requests. Preferred skills and experience To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar (Mandatory); Familiarity with SQL for simple data querying and basic database management tasks; Demonstrable understanding of application development standards & methodology including the software delivery life cycle; Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with people of all levels; The ability to solve complex problems effectively and escalate issues appropriately; Manage time and resources effectively in a climate of competing priorities; Work effectively within a team.
