About the role Reporting to the Group Executive, People & Workplace, you will act as a strategic Business Partner and lead the development and execution of communication strategies that support EA’s initiatives, with a focus on enhancing internal communications and elevating the overall employee and volunteer experience. Your duties will include and are not limited to: Craft the tone of voice for key stakeholders and develop targeted communications for employee audiences for the CEO, the Group Executive, People & Workplace, the Executive Team and People & Workplace Group; Develop, manage, and maintain internal communications channels, including content production to effectively deliver messages and ensure positive employee engagement; Own key initiatives including CEO and Executive communications, People & Workplace Group newsletters, content for townhalls, as well as developing key messages for the organisation; Provide advice for the development of engaging, strategically aligned content for internal channels including presentations, speeches, social and digital media, stories, briefs, and award submissions; Craft internal communications to a consistently high standard, operating within a fast-paced environment on behalf of the CEO and Group Executive, People & Workplace, ensuring alignment with our purpose and key messages; Develop and implement appropriate metrics that evaluate the success and impact of internal communications and engagement strategies, channels, and initiatives to promote continuous improvement; and Support organisational change initiatives through the delivery of effective change and communication plans in partnership with the People Business Partnering Team. About the person You will be an experienced Head of Internal Communications who has proven examples of working closely with an Executive Leadership team. With a strong focus on action and a sense of urgency, you have high energy, are confident, credible and bring proven experience, knowledge, and skills in employee and internal communications. You have a strong track record in the development and delivery of strategies and initiatives that deliver measurable return on investment and sustainable results within a professional environment. You enjoy collaboration, welcoming the support and feedback of others on your work and enjoy a fast-paced environment that is adapting and changing to our team members, Office Bearer and volunteer needs. This role will be hands on with the support of a small team. Proven experience and capability, leveraging technology and various programs such as SharePoint, are essential for this role. Additionally, we are looking for: Relevant formal qualifications, preferably in communications, journalism, or marketing; Exemplary writing and communications skills; Strong background in corporate communications, specifically in internal Executive communications and engagement, with natural ability to influence Senior Executives, supported by strong stakeholder management skills; Expertise in PowerPoint presentations, with a high level of creative flair; Proven track record in leading and developing effective organisation-wide internal communications with employee engagement in mind; Project management experience and skills with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, achieving agreed outcomes, and managing to budget; and Experience with a variety of production processes (IT, print, broadcast).
