About the Role As General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and broader strategic direction of the Australian business – spanning manufacturing, supply chain, commercial development, quality compliance, product delivery, and team leadership. Working closely with our Executive team, you’ll take ownership of the Australian operations and play a pivotal role in scaling the business nationally. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial Leadership Lead and implement business strategy across operations, product, sales, and brand. Define and execute the commercial, operational, and innovation roadmap. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management. Drive business performance through data-led decision making. Operations & Compliance Oversee logistics, supply, and inventory operations to ensure service excellence. Collaborate with R&D and marketing to identify and launch innovative, market-relevant products. Manage key partnerships with suppliers, wholesalers, pharmacies, and regulatory bodies. Oversee the development, management, and forecasting of budgets to ensure financial performance aligns with strategic objectives. Work closely with the Quality and Regulatory team to ensure strong GMP and TGA compliance. Drive continuous improvement to optimise processes, cost-efficiency, and product quality. Team & Culture Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team. Foster a values-led culture of leadership, imagination and trust. Promote strong succession planning, staff development, and engagement. About You We’re looking for a results-driven, detail-orientated leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and brings a blend of strategic vision and hands-on operational expertise. You will have: 10 years’ leadership experience. Proven success leading businesses or divisions through growth or transformation. Deep knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and product development life cycles. Strong commercial track record including sales team leadership and market strategy execution. Experience with high regulatory environments. A firm but collaborative leadership style – able to make the tough calls when needed. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Bonus Points For: Experience in the pharma/GMP/medicinal cannabis industry. A relevant degree in commerce, business, marketing, or life sciences. Strong sourcing, B2C marketing or brand development capabilities.
