We are currently seeking an experienced Fiberglass Technician / Fiber Composite Technician to join our team in Penrith. This is a full time role and will involve working Monday to Friday 2.00pm to 10.00pm (afternoon shift). You will be responsible for: Working in a safe manner and following all safety instructions and policies Safely using ladders and scaffolding to access work areas Reading and manufacturing stormwater containment and treatment tanks in accordance with approved drawings Cutting and preparing fiberglass for the installation of components and penetrations Filling all gaps and laminating using hand layup techniques Finishing tanks with a flow coat Applicants must have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role in the fiberglass industry. You'll also have an understanding of differences between Orthophthalic, isophthalic and vinyl ester resins, and have experience using Methyl Methacrylate Adhesives (MMA). A salary package of $76,515 - $80,000 will be offered to the successful applicant, plus afternoon shift loading and overtime as required.
