The Security and Workplace Services team is responsible for enhancing the NDIS Commission's business, security and resilience capability through strategically and operationally managing the national property and accommodation portfolio. The Corporate Support team is made up of Corporate Support Officers (CSO) who are responsible for face-to-face support in nine of the NDIS Commission's offices nationwide. The CSOs work as a team and in collaboration with other corporate teams to ensure consistency of processes across the offices. The key duties of the position include Day to day activities in the Corporate Support team will be across a wide range of duties and would suit a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail, who enjoys working with people. The advertised role requires the successful candidate to work from the office 4 days a week with the possibility of flexible working arrangements on the 5th day. The Corporate Support Officer is primarily responsible for: maintaining the office and identifying needs to provide relevant support; providing general assistance to staff, including Senior Executive Service (SES) staff; working with corporate teams to on-board and off-board new starters; facilitating office induction for new starters; providing corporate services for the office, including; managing office supplies; mail distribution; coordinating logistics associated with on-boarding and off-boarding staff; escorting visitors and contractors (sometimes done out of hours on a very are basis); providing general advice on processes and use of templates across all Enabling Services functions; and working collaboratively to support the Enabling Services functions; Property, Security, HR, Finance, Procurement, ICT, Internal audit and Information Management; there may be times where there is a requirement to complete corporate division duties to support in office activities specific to a certain geographical office.
