Exciting opportunity to join a leading Construction team. Our client is a proudly independent Australian law firm with a strong reputation for exceptional service and a people-first culture. The firm partners with leading Australian and international corporations, government bodies, and organisations across sectors including construction, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and technology.
The role is based in Sydney and is for a 2–4 year Construction Lawyer to join a highly regarded and close-knit team. The practice is recognised for advising government departments, major construction companies and developers on complex and high-profile matters. You will gain exposure to:
- Supreme Court of NSW proceedings
- Security of payment disputes
- ADR, including expert determinations and mediations
- Front-end project work across the public and private sectors

Responsibilities
- Provide legal services in front-end and back-end construction matters (from a top or mid-tier firm)
- Draft submissions and witness statements; support security of payment disputes; contribute to ADR processes
- Engage in front-end project work across the public and private sectors
About you / Qualifications
- 2–4 years PAE
- Experience across both front-end and back-end construction matters (from a top or mid-tier firm)
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated technical ability and commercial acumen
- Exposure to security of payment disputes, drafting submissions and witness statements (highly regarded)
- A client-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- The ability to work both collaboratively and independently
