We're looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter/All-Rounder to join a growing team and work on special works projects between $500K – $2M. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced tradesperson ready to grow long-term within the business to ideally be able to become a Site Manager one day, working on projects up to $10M. The Role: As a Lead Carpenter, you’ll be working across high-end apartments and homes in their special works sector, managing a wide range of responsibilities that span both hands-on carpentry and site coordination. Think of this as a “mini-builder” role — juggling multiple hats and being involved in all aspects of site delivery. Sites will range between the Northern Beaches, Lower North Shore & Eastern Suburbs. Work on high end residential builds & apartments (mostly one project at a time, max two) Carry out all-around carpentry, including formwork, detailed fit-off, and prep for waterproofing Perform site set-out and manage inductions alongside PMs and Site Managers Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and trades Manage day-to-day site cleanliness and safety Use internal systems including Buildertrend and other in-house processes Ensure quality standards and timelines are met on-site About You: Cert III in Carpentry (minimum requirement) Cert IV in Building & Construction (highly desirable) Minimum 4–5 years of residential carpentry experience, ideally in the high-end space Able to read and interpret plans, set out sites, and manage small crews and trades Confident with waterproofing prep, inductions, and dealing with suppliers/trades Comfortable wearing multiple hats — from hands-on carpentry to basic site management Great attitude, reliable, and eager to grow into a Supervisory role over time What’s On Offer $90K – $120K Super, depending on experience Monday to Friday only – no weekend work Strong potential for career progression into a Site Supervisor role where you can work on architectural builds up to $10M Work with a close knit, passionate team that respects quality and craftsmanship MUST HAVE: Living in Australian with more than 3 years working in the Australian Construction Industry Australian Certificates & Qualifications Residential Experience (ideally on projects between $500K - $2M) This is a great opportunity to join a team that enjoys building quality projects and can offer long-term career progression and opportunities.
