As a Senior Portfolio Analyst - Portfolio Strategy and Resilience you’ll provide complex analysis and research to support the design and integration of asset class portfolios, helping deliver cohesive, total portfolio outcomes for our members. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team to design investment strategies and decisions aligned with our members’ best financial interests. Your insights will help shape and contribute to our research, identify emerging portfolio risks, and develop mitigation strategies to maintain resilient portfolios. Day to day, you'll: Undertake complex research and analysis to support the shaping and implementation of portfolio strategy, delivering actionable recommendations. Share updates and suggestions about risks in investment options and market trends; assist in preparing materials for meetings and committee presentations. Validate data and methods used in risk analysis before sharing results. Create clear and accurate risk reports using tools and internal systems, including dashboards for investment performance. Analyse future scenarios that could impact investments and explore risk mitigation strategies. Build, maintain, and improve fit-for-purpose data, models, frameworks, and tools for portfolio management. Develop and deliver timely, complex reports to support negotiations and foster trust with key external partners. This role is 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity. About you It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: You have relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, investments, economics, or a related discipline. You bring experience in the investment industry or a relevant domain, with strong knowledge of legislation, regulations, market trends, risk-reward optimisation, and emerging issues. You’re highly skilled in research and analysis, and you’re able to work independently to deliver valuable insights. Your written and oral communication skills are well-developed, allowing you to clearly share your findings and recommendations. You excel at stakeholder management and you’re a true team player who collaborates effectively. You’re proficient in using relevant systems and tools to support your work.
