ResponsibilitiesSupport the origination of new mandates through detailed market, industry, and company research, and by analysing the strategic and financial needs of clients.Contribute to the preparation of client materials, including pitch presentations, strategic reviews, and sector insights.Assist in the development and management of client relationships by preparing marketing materials and contributing to business development initiatives.Play a key role in transaction execution by coordinating project workflows, managing due diligence processes, and supporting senior bankers throughout each deal stage.Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuations, pro forma financials, DCFs, and comparable company analyses.Assist in drafting key transaction documentation, such as engagement letters, information memoranda, bid letters, scheme booklets, and prospectuses. Key Deliverables of the Role Consistently produce high-quality work under tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and mitigate transaction risks.Develop robust valuation models and support the production of compelling pitch materials, analysis, and deliverables that contribute to successful client outcomes. Skills and experienceA tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.Strong academic results.1-4 years of M&A Advisory/Modelling/Valuations/Investment Banking/Corporate Finance experience.Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving abilities.The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and groups.Strong finance and business writing skills.An ability to manage projects independently and provide guidance to a team member.A desire to work collaboratively and contribute to the team.
