Citi’s Corporate Advisory Senior Associate is responsible for providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions and assisting clients in raising funds and other capital management activities. This role will be covering the Financial Institutions (“FI”) sector and will be based in Sydney. Responsibilities: Assist in the execution of Citi’s Capital Markets and Advisory business activities associated with FI clientsLeverage past investment banking or related experience to enhance M&A execution and capital raising capabilitiesContribute to building Citi’s franchiseManage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, quality checkDrive workstreams as the key intermediary between seniors and analystsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency Qualifications: 5-7 years of relevant experienceExperience creating financial analysesDemonstrated problem solving and organisational skillsClear and concise written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work with teams Financial Institutions coverage experience preferred, but also happy to consider candidates with other sector experience however have a strong interest in FI Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience Job Family Group: Institutional Banking Job Family: Investment Banking Time Type: Full time Most Relevant Skills Please see the requirements listed above.
