We are looking for a Business Director who has a passion for bringing brand experience and creative ideas to life in digital and customer marketing channels. The Telstra Best of Business Awards is an annual national awards program, and the longest standing business awards program in Australia with over 20,000 entrants each year. It is a demonstration of Telstra’s support of Australian businesses and is highly regarded by the business community. The Role The role will be working in a tight, dedicated team responsible for the delivery of the Telstra Best of Business Awards program. World class creativity is the ambition for all the brands’ communications, and the Awards program is no exception. The Business Director will lead the day-to-day management of all customer marketing activity (paid and owned – social, content, web, comms) with the support of a Business Manager and an Integrated Producer. You will work closely with the strategists and creatives within 61 as part of a full-service agency team to deliver the program seamlessly to market. The Ideal Candidate You will be experienced in managing integrated campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels. You’ll have a strong foundation in data-driven customer marketing, digital and CRM campaigns. Experience in managing ATL/AV/Content activity will also be beneficial to the program of work. You will take pride in creating best in class creative work no matter how large or small. You can see the big picture but not be afraid of detail and complexity. You’ll be curious, proactive, and collaborative. Key Responsibilities: Ensuring the agency is meeting the client’s needs and working with all the key functions that go into creating strategic, creative and production agency outputs Successfully managing a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team, their workflow and overseeing delivery of all projects Driving the strategy and providing an informed point of view in response to the brief, challenging and shaping the work, and building the relationship with the client as a trusted agency partner Leading day-to-day client relationships and nurturing the relationship, delivering high standards of client satisfaction, measured through feedback and surveys Proactively identifying opportunities to solve key business issues with the Client Partner Having a good understanding of clients' business; their audience, brand, competitors and their internal processes and structures Project pricing, profitability and management of large scopes of work and budgets. Providing accurate monthly project and production forecasts and scope reconciliations with oversight from Client Partner Managing the learning and development of a direct report Experience: 4-6 years’ experience in a similar agency role responsible for day-to-day client management Have a strong understanding of marketing communications, creative and digital agency processes Ability to work and manage multiple projects autonomously (and collaboratively) from brief to despatch Strong communication and presentation skills Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and ability to think critically to troubleshoot in advance Strong experience managing financial processes and reporting Experience creating master timing plans, cost estimates and controlling production process’ financially to improve cost efficiencies and profitability Familiarity with Figma, Monday.com, Jira, MS Office Suite Flexible to occasional travel requirements WHY TBWA We’re a global collective of creative minds, united by a shared belief in the power of Disruption®.
