Position Summary The Event Services Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the service workflow of the assigned station and ensures stellar delivery of dining experience for all guests. The individual anticipates and services guest needs and is knowledgeable about all available menu options, beverage lists and daily specials. The Role Ensures and provides flawless, upscale, professional and high-class guest service experiences as a role model and expert in all banquet/events-related matters. Conducts the pre-service shift briefing in the absence of Event Services Manager. Coordinate event set-up, logistics, and breakdown, ensuring all arrangements align with client specifications and hotel standards. Oversees and manages the daily operations of the department and ensures that all team members comply with service standards. Liaises with different department and external vendors, monitors the service quality of external companies and partners (Audiovisual, Florist, Decorator, etc.) Establishes and maintain records of breakage, feedbacks and suggestions for inventory and event management purposes. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel daily services, activities, promotion, and event. Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up-to-date information. Monitor performances team members and provide effective performance feedback for improvements and recognition. Conducts theoretical, formal and practical (on the job) training for all operational staff. Analyze guest feedback from direct feedback, comment card or any online reviews and providing strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating. Talent Profile Tertiary education, specializing in beverage service/events management is of advantage. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Familiarity with restaurant systems such as Symphony or Seven Rooms. Exceptional communication skills paired with a passion for guest relations. Strong command of written and spoken English. Available to work on a rotating roster (early mornings, weekends, and public holidays) across a 7-day operation. Valid working rights in Australia.
