A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of projects. Leadership, communication and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge. Project experience in Industrial projects is ideal as it will be managing industrial project management teams however if you have experience in other complex construction sectors such as Data Centres, Ports, Aviation, Health, Manufacturing, Complex Infrastructure etc. that could also suit. You must be comfortable managing high performing teams. The candidate must possess strong leadership and engagement skills as well as be comfortable with Business Development activities to be able to manage existing relationships as well as potentially bring new business into the company. From a technical aspect, the candidate will ideally have experience from front end through to delivering the construction phase of projects with strong contracts experience. Candidates can come from client-side consultancy, main contractor or consulting engineering firms but will ideally have both client side experience and main contractor delivery experience. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Client management and consultation Engagement, management and recruitment of teams Project Planning/Feasibility studies Design Management and Value Engineering Procurement of construction services Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent Delivery of construction services Business Development Commissioning and post contract duties for handover Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar 10 - 15 plus years’ experience of end-to-end project management on building projects Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture Excellent verbal and written communication skills This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
