About the position The Library Branch Officer will assist in the day-to-day operations of Muswellbrook and/or Denman Branches. To assist in the provision and promotion of quality customer focused programming and services. Key Responsibilities Open and close the library, maintain equipment and supplies Issue, return, shelve, and check library items Respond to customer enquiries in-person and online, including complaints and inter library loan requests Support library programs, displays, and promotional activities Manage branch administration including mail, statistics, dispatch preparation, notice boards, newspapers, and signage Accurately process and receipt payments (cash, EFTPOS, credit card), reconcile revenue, and handle general banking tasks Assist with collection maintenance and end processing of library materials Read the Position Description and learn more about this exciting opportunity. About you Current Working with Children Check Certificate III in Library Studies or equivalent experience Current NSW Class C Drivers License Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
