About the position The Library Technical Services Officer – Marketing and Promotions will work within a team to deliver both customer services and technical services to internal and external customers as well as develop and maintain the Library website and social media platforms. Key Responsibilities Provide circulation services, including item loans/returns, new memberships, and customer support. Assist with research enquiries, reader advisory, and local history services. Support the planning and delivery of library programs, events, and staff training. Maintain library records, statistics, and databases. Contribute to acquisitions, cataloguing, and collection maintenance. Manage promotional content for the library’s website, social media, and online tools. About you Diploma of Library and Information Services (Library Technical Studies) or other qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association. Current Class C Driver’s license and ability to drive a council vehicle. Current Working with Children Check. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver small projects. Demonstrated ability to use an Integrated Library Management System.
