Overview of the Hospital: The RBWH is a large tertiary referral teaching hospital. We have a large trauma centre, delivering clinical services within a fast-paced environment. Metro North Hospital and Health Service has a strong focus on providing excellence in patient centred care. The Anaesthetic Healthcare Practitioner Department has a team of 94 staff members: trainees, graduates to qualified staff delivering frontline clinical services to 22 operating theatres and 11 procedural suites across the RBWH complex. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: The Anaesthetic Graduate is responsible for preparing the anaesthetic environment and is required to be present during the induction and maintenance for all elective and emergency anaesthetic procedures Provide skilled assistance for all elective and emergent anaesthetic procedures within the peri-operative and procedural suites Participate in the departmental roster, including continuous shift rotations of up to 10 hour duration and on call.
