Costa’s Citrus operations in the heart of the Riverland, South Australia, are seeking a Harvest Administration Coordinator to lead and strengthen our Harvest Administration function. This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate payroll reconciliation, piece-rate compliance, workforce data management, and effective support for supervisors and managers during one of the busiest and most important times of our year. If you are a skilled administrator with leadership experience, strong data and compliance capability, and the drive to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact at the heart of one of Australia’s largest citrus operations. What You’ll Do: Lead and coach a small team of Harvest Administration Officers. Oversee payroll reconciliation, piece-rate agreements, and compliance with Fair Work and PALM scheme requirements. Ensure accurate and timely collection, processing, and reporting of harvest labour data. Act as a central liaison between Harvest Supervisors, Finance, Payroll, HR, and labour providers. Drive process improvements, reporting accuracy, and compliance oversight. Support a multicultural workforce, where English is often a second language, through clear communication and training. What You’ll Bring: Demonstrated experience in administration, payroll, or HR, ideally within agriculture, manufacturing, or a related industry. Leadership skills, with the ability to coach and develop a small team. Strong attention to detail and data management capability, with intermediate–advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with a multicultural workforce. Confidence in liaising across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities in a high-pressure environment. A proactive approach to compliance and process improvement. Applicants must have full and unrestricted work rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this role. Key Challenges: Managing high volumes of manual data and payroll reconciliation during peak harvest periods. Ensuring compliance with Fair Work and PALM scheme requirements where errors carry significant risk. Leading and supporting a multicultural workforce where English is often a second language. Balancing transactional deadlines with process improvement and stakeholder engagement. Adapting quickly to changing harvest forecasts and operational priorities. What We Offer: While harvest requires commitment during peak periods, we’re open to flexible arrangements for the right person. Competitive salary and benefits that recognise the importance of this leadership role. Learning and development opportunities to build your skills in compliance, payroll, leadership, and workforce management. The chance to make a tangible impact in a role central to the success of Australia’s citrus harvest. A supportive and collaborative team environment, with exposure across Operations, Finance, HR, and Payroll. Why Costa: At Costa, we’re not just growing produce—we’re growing futures.
