The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate leads the public sector and works collaboratively both within government and with the community to achieve positive outcomes. As Senior Finance Officer in Management Reporting team, you will be responsible for preparing monthly Finance reports, annual Financial Statements, and supporting budget processes and related documentation. You will also need to provide support to the finance partners across business units on financial processes, forecasting, budgeting and responding to financial queries. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence in liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial management systems such as Oracle, TM1, Government Budget Management System (GBMS), Certent Disclosure Management (CDM), Budget and Reporting Tool (BART), and Power BI would be an advantage. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field along with professional membership of CPA/CAANZ are highly desirable. Previous experience working with complex spreadsheets and financial management systems, in particular Oracle, TM1, GBMS, CDM, BART and Power BI would be an advantage.
