As the Manager, Contract, Procurement & Vendor Management, you will:- Lead and manage a small team to deliver quality vendor management and procurement services through monitoring and management of vendor performance, relationship and engagement process and practices to ensure value for money and minimise potential future risks.- Work closely with internal teams and identified stakeholders to maintain a procurement pipeline and proactively manage our vendors ensuring internal business owners effectively manage the relationship, risk, and performance of their assigned portfolio of ICT vendors.- Work collaboratively with internal business owners and key stakeholders to identify, establish and monitor individual vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and advise stakeholders on performance improvement and treatment action plans where required.- Build and sustain strategic and working relationships with key vendors to ensure value for money and low risk service provision.- Provide expert advice to senior management about procurement and ICT services provided by key vendors and assist senior management develop and implement plans for vendor strategic and performance management, with a focus on ICT.- Work collaboratively across whole-of-Government to develop, implement and maintain shared procurement and vendor management best practices and knowledge transfer.- Work closely with procurement officers to manage Forward Procurement Schedule (FPS) and the Vendor Contract Lifecycle (procurement, variations and extensions).This position is part of the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes. CDSB is currently in negotiations for a certified agreement to cover all CDSB employees. In the meantime, the Core Agreement conditions apply to this position.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
