Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support critical ICT systems within the transport and infrastructure sector. This role will focus on driving business process improvement, gathering requirements, and preparing the business for significant contract renewals in 2026. Rate: negotiable depending on experience Location: Brisbane CBD or Gold Coast with flexible WFH options Contract Length: 3 months with possible extension Responsibilities: Lead the planning, analysis, and delivery of business improvement initiatives Investigate and document business opportunities, risks, and impacts of proposed initiatives Conduct cost/benefit analysis and benefits tracking for improvement projects Gather and validate business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Facilitate workshops and use Business Process Management tools to model and analyse processes Provide high-level advice on internal systems, reporting, and business performance Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, including ICT vendors and government agencies Act as a subject matter expert on business analysis and system improvement activities About the role: You will work closely with the Program Manager and project teams on initiatives relating to the Asset Maintenance Management System and the Autonomous Defect Logging tool. With contracts for both systems due to expire in June 2026, this role will play a pivotal part in reviewing business processes and requirements in preparation for going to market for new suppliers. Desirable skills and experience: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally with ICT systems in government or large organisations Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills Experience with business process modelling and continuous improvement methodologies Knowledge of asset management systems, defect logging tools, or transport/infrastructure projects (highly regarded) This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the future of ICT systems supporting Queensland’s transport infrastructure.
