The Role Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic financial guidance that drives decisions across the organisation Partner with business areas to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance Analyse complex financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and make clear recommendations to senior leaders Lead projects to streamline financial processes, systems, and reporting, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness Build strong relationships across teams, collaborating to deliver results and drive continuous improvement Mentor and support the development of finance staff, building capability within the team The Ideal Person You are a clear and confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve results. Known for your high attention to detail, you take pride in delivering work to a high standard and on time. You enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers and using your initiative to solve problems and add value. You are CPA or CA qualified with a strong business accounting background, and while knowledge of government accounting frameworks is advantageous, it is not essential. You thrive in situations that require critical thinking, are comfortable operating in the grey, and are willing to question how things are done.
