The Role As a financial accountant, you will play a key role in supporting accurate and timely financial reporting, decision-making, and compliance. Key responsibilities include: Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual financial statements Delivering accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting, including accruals, variance analysis, and ledger close activities Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management and other internal and external stakeholders Assisting with taxation compliance, including the preparation of BAS and FBT returns Building and maintaining effective relationships across the organisation The Ideal Person At least two years’ experience in accounting or audit (Big 4, consulting, or federal government) Expertise in financial systems such as TechOne, SAP, CBMS, TM1, or similar A solid understanding of financial reporting, month-end processes, and journals, with a sound grasp of accounting standards Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance (highly desirable) If this sounds like the step you’re ready to take in 2025, submit your CV today!
