The Position: This is a 35 - 38-hour-per-week role. Working in the beautiful Yarra Valley @ The Grand Hotel Healesville - est in 1888 We pride ourselves on quality food, beverage, and customer service and are looking for an outstanding supervisor who has extensive experience in a pub enviroment Us: We are a local / family-run hotel and understand the importance of work-life balance. The Grand has accommodation, a dining room, a bar, and a bottleshop You: You will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Hotel. You will also assist in the control of productivity within all departments creating a professional role and ensuring service standards are outstanding. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria; • Previous experience as a Supervisor in a hotel • Demonstrate high level customer service skills • Cash handling and reconciliation • Hold current RSA & TAB (willing to get TAB) • Neat presentation and attention to detail • A team player who has the potential to lead and encourage other team members • Maintain security over cash, stock, and hotel assets through management practices and systems. • Proactively engage with and manage employees, identifying where training or discipline is needed. This role is for an immediate start.
