Quality Controller - Night Shift At breadsolutions we use the finest ingredients combined with traditional baking techniques and cutting-edge technology to provide high quality artisan bread and rolls for Australia’s leading retailers our purpose is to put the craft back into breadmaking. Located at our Braeside site we operate a 24/7 Roster which includes working every second weekend. For this role, you must be available for the following shift pattern. We use the finest ingredients combined with traditional baking techniques and cutting-edge technology to provide high quality artisan bread and rolls or Australia’s leading retailers and food service industries. Please note two weeks training on day shift is required Roster Pattern Week One Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6.00pm - 6.00am (12-hour shift) Week Two Wednesday, Thursday 6.00pm - 6.00am (12-hour shift) Core Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Monitor staff hygiene compliance with breadsolutions Food Safety Standards Conduct 2-hourly quality assessments and issue deviation notices Manage retention samples and documentation control Perform shift audits of GMP requirements and 'clean as you go' standards Critical: Oversee allergen control (high-risk area) - authority to stop production and quarantine goods Support QA policy implementation and assist with audits Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) follow-up Communication & Reporting: Liaise with production teams on quality issues and escalations Complete end-of-shift documentation and verification Immediately report significant BSFSP issues to Quality Assurance Coordinator/Technical Manager Ensure timely out-of-specification reporting to supervisors and managers Additional Duties: Identify continuous improvement opportunities Coordinate refresher training needs with management Flexible role coverage and meeting attendance as required Key Focus: Ensuring product quality, food safety compliance, and effective communication across night shift operations.
