Your New Role - Import Operations Handling end-to-end operations for key account clients and standard accounts Providing the best solution for clients’ movement of freight to mirror their needs and negotiated rates. Working within the National Import Team in concordance with company policies and procedures and department SOPs and set KPIs. Providing the best solution to move the cargo for the clients Checking Pre-Alert docs ensuring all required customs docs are received and correct Process final and disbursement invoices once customs entry is complete, staying within KPI Arranging deliveries for FCL/LCL/Airfreight consignments for allocated accounts, and “standard” accounts ensuring transport companies have relative paperwork and customs duty is paid before timeslot/delivery Providing coverage for team members that are away Troubleshooting issues, with agents /shippers/service providers and clients alike. Any other duties as directed by management What you'll need to succeed Min 1-3 years experience in international Freight Forwarding including Import Freight Operations A great can-do attitude, superior communication, and liaising skills coupled with relevant import air freight experience ideally within the international freight forwarding industry Exposure to industry software and proven excel skills would also assist your application.
