Your new role- Import Operations Coordinator We’re seeking an Import Operations Coordinator who’s ready to take a hands-on role in managing all aspects of import and export freight forwarding. You’ll oversee shipments, communicate with carriers and clients, handle documentation, and make sure goods move efficiently across air, sea, and road. Coordinate bookings, documentation, cargo tracking & deliveries Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transport operators & customs brokers Monitor shipments, resolve delays, ensure compliance Provide excellent customer service & shipment updates Enter and maintain shipment data in freight systems Support invoicing, costing & reconciliations What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you MUST possess: 2–3 years’ experience in international freight forwarding (air and/or sea – import/export) Knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures & shipping docs Freight forwarding system experience (Expedient preferred / CargoWise One) Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail Great communication & teamwork skills Adaptable, organised, and able to meet deadlines What you'll get in return Attractive salary with opportunities to grow your career Join a well-established and steadily growing company Ongoing training and development to help you succeed Work in a welcoming and supportive team environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume, or call Thomas Hunter now at 0437 537 710.
