About the role Delica Meat Supply is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a part-time basis in our St Kilda, VIC office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. What you'll be doing Process and maintain accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers Reconcile accounts payable statements and follow up on any discrepancies Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management Prepare and send regular customer statements and follow up on outstanding payments Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any billing or payment issues Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes as required What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounts payable or accounts receivable role, preferably within the food or wholesale industry Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience What we offer At Delica Meat Supply, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
