Job Description We are seeking an experienced and motivated Painting Foreman/Site Manager to lead our field operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives on responsibility, and is passionate about developing teams and delighting clients. You will be the key point of contact on your projects, responsible for the project site work from pre-job preparation to the final walk-through. You must have legal working rights in Australia. Tasks & Responsibilities · Lead &Manage Crews : Direct, motivate, and supervise a crew of painters and helpers to ensure maximum productivity and quality. · Project Execution: Oversee all aspects of the projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, on budget and to our exacting quality standards. · Client Communication: Serve as the main on-site contact for clients, providing professional updates and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Attend project meetings and liaise with builders via emails and relevant project management platforms such as Aconex, Procore etc. · Site Preparation & Safety: Manage all job site setup, protection, and cleanup. Enforce strict adherence to site and company safety policies and WHS guidelines. Complete daily pre-start, weekly toolbox talk, site inspection reports and other necessary documentation accurately and on time. · Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections of all work to guarantee flawless finishes and address any issues promptly. Monitor and review site quality management system. Close out and actioning of client defects utilising required platforms (Aconex, OmTrak, etc.) · Material & Logistics Management: Coordinate material deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure crews have the tools and supplies needed for each day. · Reporting: Report site progress and status to Project Manager on daily basis. Qualifications & experience · 5 years experience as a Foreman or Supervisor role in painting. · Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, material application, and industry best practices for both interior and exterior projects. · Strong leadership and crew management skills with the ability to train, motivate, and hold teams accountable. · Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges. · Outstanding communication and client relation skills. · Firm understanding of construction safety and quality protocols (ITPs, QA, Daily Pre-start and Weekly Toolbox Talk etc.) and a commitment to maintaining a zero-incident environment. · Ability to read drawings and project specifications. · Be able to deliver the project on time including overtime when necessary.
